This Friday is even more fun just because it's the first of March! I love this time of the year simply because its the closing of winter :) I'm totally a summer girl. Aren't you? Another awesome part of this time of year is the excitement in registering for your next race! We've signed up for the annual 10K and are now debating on one, slotted for May, that's part of an outdoor lifestyle festival and then there's the tough mudder in June, don't know if I'm really "mudder" ready but I'll give it a try!
Have you considered any spring races or started training for upcoming races?

2// Have you seen the 30 miles in 30 days challenge? During the other beautifully, warm seasons of the year, I can easily log 30 miles a month so I'm putting myself to the challenge to start now! Want to join me?
3// isn't that a pretty sight?!! I think so! I love shopping this section, good thing because next weeks cleanse revolves heavily around produce! All details will be up on Monday if you want to join me.
Hint* day 1 fruits, day 2 veggies
4// Dinner prep for baked avocado's! So yummy!! Have you tried this?
5// There's a nice park hardly 5 minutes from my work. We've done races here and during the workweek I like to eat lunch there or squeeze in a quick walk!
Take a moment to reflect.....
on the big and small things that make your week more beautiful.
What are you looking forward to this spring?
Has all your snow melted yet?
AND.....have you entered to win our $250 VISA giveaway?!!
I am going to get back in to Zumba but go you for the 30 day run stuff! That would kill me!!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing The Color Run this month! I did it last year too, but my mom is doing it with me this time. My best friend has been bugging me about doing a Tough Mudder with him this year. "I'm out of shape," he says. But see, he's a Marine and even when he is in his worst shape it's better than my best shape. I'm scared of the Tough Mudder!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! No sign of Spring in sight here. Still lots of ice and snow. This weekend is supposed to be a cold one too!
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely be taking part in the CN Tower Stair Climb again this year - no runs though. Any tips on how to train for a 10k?
Produce section is my favorite place. I can't wait until the summer time so I can go to the farmer markets again!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos, have a wonderful weekend sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteHey girl! I think I might join you on this 30 day challenge! I've got my first 5k this weekend! I'm excited because it's a challenge course along with the running! Then, I've got my 10k coming up at the end of April! I need this encouragement! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love the produce section too, it's totally my fave!

I am looking forward to wearing spring clothes, and spring decorating. We haven't had a "real" snow here in NC only minimal amounts, but with NC weather we could get snow in March...
ReplyDeleteI am all registered for color me rad in OKC and I have a code for a freebie that I still need to register for. I haven't hopped on the treadmill in nearly 2 weeks. The elliptical keeps calling at me when I'm in the gym. I might have to get back to running soon though. I've packed on some pounds that need to go!
ReplyDeleteI'm soooo ready for Spring too!! It can't get here fast enough.
ReplyDeleteMarch 16th, I'm doing The Color Run...my 2nd 5k...pretty excited!!
I really like the idea of 30 miles in 30 days! It's a great challenge and good concrete goal.

ReplyDeleteBAKED avocado? Really? I've never heard of that! Is it good?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do 30 miles in 30 days. I log more, usually-but that's pretty motivating!
Pretty wonderful photos. Love the idea of 30 miles in 30 days.
ReplyDeleteHey Kristine!

Love your blog! I'll be doing 31 miles this month. Super excited... my goal for February was 28 miles and I ended with 40. Ready to see what March brings! :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute pic girl! Jealous of that park too! I'm doing the hat race (a foundation started by my cousins wife in remembrance of a friend of theirs who just died of skin cancer at the age of 26) and get your rear in gear (colorectal cancer awareness). I should probably get some pep in my step to make sure I can do both of those haha. Hope you're having a good weekend!
