Easy and Breezy

Instead of mint, I went with coral. And until it warms up a bit more, a chunky knit sweater it was.
I have a ton of colored cut offs so why do I choose only navy, black or earth toned skinnies? Something about my lower half being a bright color must be what turns me off. Well, I got over it. And, I love them.

I had just a few minutes to snap these pictures and looking back on them, I seriously can't wait to wear these skimmers with flowy tank tops and flip flops or wedges!!! Excuse the overflow of exclamation points, I'm just that excited for summer wear! I played it safe with this color combo. I really like it though. Take away the leopard prints and it feels a bit nautical. What other colors would you pair with these pants?

No need for a scarf today. A kite? yes, it was breezy. But we're getting there. And by there I mean spring. In our area the daffodils are budding and some are blooming. Our lawn has received it's first cut of the year and I gifted hubby a new grill this week :) Super cool of me, I know. He was beyond excited about the purchase and I know he'll put it to good use. We've found a few "grill" recipes to help us eat healthy and stick with the purpose of doing our cleanse. (recap tomorrow) If you know of any good ones, send 'em my way!

We've got a busy month ahead of us. Where has the first half of March gone? Besides my goals listed here and all things PCS related I'm most excited for throwing back a few drinks at the St. Patty festival, jumping up and down at the Carrie Underwood concert next week, and planning Landon's 2nd birthday party for April! I'm finally ready to start on all the PCS stuff, I thank the seasons changing for that drift in my mood!
